However, unlike the process of traditional crowns, CEREC crowns allow for creation and designing of the crown using computer software in a single visit. CEREC allows dentists to mill a crown from a robust ceramic material which resembles the other healthy teeth.

How Is a CEREC Crown-Made & Placed?

These images are then uploaded to a computer which is transmitted to a CEREC mill, and a natural-appearing crown is prepared within half an hour.
